Licensed Mental Health Counselor & Certified Clinical Trauma Professional
For as long as I can remember, I have sought out harmony, connection, and meaning. My curiosity about people and personalities — and my desire for deeper intimacy — drew me into the intersecting spheres of psychology, philosophy, and spirituality.
These wells of interest led me to a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Washington and a Masters of Counseling at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.
“It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.” — e.e. Cummings
Early in my career, I worked at Northwest Family Life in Seattle, a counseling center specializing in domestic violence and advocacy. There I began the journey of walking alongside adults and families in their most vulnerable moments.
I founded New Leaf Counseling, LLC while living abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina — an experience that broadened my perspective and deepened my appreciation for working across cultures. I have had the privilege of working with English-speaking individuals from many countries around the world.
Today, I continue to work with individuals of different cultural backgrounds — religious and non-religious — who are grappling with life transitions, grief, trauma, and relationship difficulties. My work is tailored to your personal journey, always aimed at helping you discover and live the life that is most authentically yours.
